Darfun Labs websites, applications, products, services, events, and contests (together, the "Service") are operated by Darfun Labs ("we," "our," or "us"). The Service includes motion-sense games, educational products, team experiences, and contests such as V-NAYAKAS.

For the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), Darfun Labs is the Data Fiduciary.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Service. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read it.

  1. Scope

    This policy applies to players, students, teams, paying customers, contestants, and anyone who contacts us about any Darfun Labs product, service, or contest.

  2. Camera Access and Local Processing

    Some motion-sense products need your device camera so the software can track movement.

    Local processing. Where we use on-device pose tracking, camera input and tracking run locally in your web browser or app.

    No video upload. We do not record, store, or transmit your camera feed, face images, or biometric templates to our servers. Camera data stays on the device, except where the law requires otherwise.

    Permission. The browser or app asks for camera access. If you refuse, motion products that need the camera will not work.

  3. Children's Privacy

    Some offerings are designed for families or classrooms. Children may use them only with a supervising adult.

    We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Adults must not submit a child's name, email, or other personal data in payment, account, or contact forms unless a product expressly asks for it and the adult is authorized to provide it.

  4. Information We Collect

    Accounts and profiles. If you create an account or register for a contest, we may receive your name, email, display name, and similar details you provide.

    Payment confirmation. If you pay or submit a confirmation form, we may receive your name, email, and a UPI / transaction reference. Card and bank details are handled by the payment provider, not stored by us.

    Messages. If you email or message us, we receive the contact details and content you send.

    Play and contest data. We may store scores, completion times, leaderboard entries, and similar gameplay results for products and contests that keep records.

    Technical data. We may collect limited device or browser type, IP address, and basic usage logs needed to run, secure, and debug the Service.

    Some gameplay data may also be stored on your device (for example in the browser) so a session can continue.

  5. Legal Basis

    We process personal data on the basis of consent, performance of a contract (providing a product, service, contest, or paid access), and legitimate operational needs to keep the Service working and secure, as allowed under the DPDP Act, 2023.

  6. How We Use Information

    • to run our websites, products, services, and contests
    • to confirm payments and match a transaction reference
    • to operate accounts, scores, and leaderboards where those features exist
    • to answer support questions
    • to improve reliability and prevent misuse

    We do not sell personal information.

  7. Sharing

    Trusted processors (hosting, payment gateways such as UPI apps, email, and similar tools) may handle data as needed to operate the Service, under confidentiality obligations.

    If a product is used in a school, workplace, or facilitated session, results may be visible to the host or organizer of that session as described in that product.

  8. Transfers and Retention

    Hosting providers may process data outside India. We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose collected, payment records, contest administration, or legal requirements, then delete or anonymize it.

    You may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent by writing to us at the contact below, subject to applicable law.

  9. Security

    We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service is completely secure. You are responsible for your own device and network.

  10. Changes

    We may update this policy on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use means you accept the revised policy.
